Five Named to CSC All-District At-Large Men’s Team

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men’s At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men’s at-large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

2025-26 Worcester State Men’s Hockey Year End Award Winners

Worcester, MA- On Sunday April 26, 2026 the Worcester State Men’s hockey team, families, alumni and friends of the program came together at their annual end of the year Break Up Dinner. They celebrated the end of this academic year, the 2025-26 the hockey season, the three graduating seniors and acknowledged the performance not only of the team but recognized the performances of team members.

Worcester State Has Sixed Named to MASCAC Winter Sportsmanship Team

WESTFIELD, Mass. – 38 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) student-athletes have been honored for their outstanding sportsmanship as members of the 2026 Winter Sportsmanship Team.

Lancers Meet Match in OT Battle with Rams

Worcester, MA- As the Lancers began to close out their regular season, they headed to Framingham State tonight for the Men’s Ice Hockey team (9-9-4, 2-6-3) to take on the Rams. Worcester previously defeated the Rams back at the start of December 5-1, and after an OT battle last Saturday, Worcester was focused on a regulation win.

Lancers Honor Evan Armit in "11 Fund" Creation Game versus Falcons

Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Men’s Ice Hockey team (9-8-4, 2-5-3) returned home tonight to host a game in honor of student athlete Evan Armit, who passed away in August, and the creation of the “11-Fund” in his honor. This fund, created with the support of Teddy Bear Pools and Spas, will be a permanent endowment established at Worcester State University to honor the legacy of student-athlete Evan Armit, who passed away on August 24, 2025, at the age of 23 following a courageous battle with metastatic melanoma.

Westfield, MA — A total of 1,463 student-athletes have been honored by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference with selection to the league’s Fall/Winter 2025 All-Academic team that was released earlier today by Commissioner Angela Baumann.
